I’ve had the honor of photographing Lily on two occasions. The first time I worked with her was for her Junior prom which was full of the hustle and bustle. We headed to a local spot in Athens where several classmates and friends were. That afternoon was a complete whirlwind as we hopped around from individual photos, to photos with Lily and her date, to close friends, and large group shots. While it was a busy and quick Saturday afternoon, we had so much FUN and Lily looked absolutely beautiful.

When Lily’s mom reached out for me to take Lily’s senior photos a year later I tailored Lily’s session just to her. Throughout the planning process I quickly learned that Lily is a quite and gentle soul, and loves to play her guitar. Lily and her mom requested a field at sunset. I was so excited for a slower paced session that celebrated Lily and all of her accomplishments.

Now y’all… this is just how low-key and small town Lily’s session was; I met her and her family at the local Ingles where we rode together to a friend’s private property for the photoshoot. It was the perfect backdrop for her photos as the property was full of overgrown grass, a beautiful gravel driveway lined with trees, and a pond. Not to forget to mention Lily’s outfit and props were absolutely perfect for the occasion. For my Swifties out there, I really feel like we captured Lily’s Version of Taylor’s debut album.

Lily, thank you so much for trusting me with your senior photos. It has been an absolute JOY to get to know you and to work with you the past year. I am wishing you all the best in your next chapter. Congratulations, grad!
